Guest SoundOfDeath
My computer is taking a really long time to load up once it gets to my desktop. I've gotten blue screen of death twice now. Help me please? :D
Guest RET.SSgt.Haterade=US=
What's the BSOD say? Download "blue screen view" and it'll show you the log files so you can figure out what code of the BSOD is. Without that there's not much anyone can do to help. Guest SoundOfDeath
I can't even get it to load up to the desktop anymore. I think my computer might have finally given up on me. After 3 years of gaming I can hardly blame it. If I get the BSOD again I'll tell you guys. I was looking to get a new computer in June. Maybe I will have to push that date up. Guest Ret.Maj.Xander=US=
Find a restore disk, try and re-install windows. Windows 7 if possible. If the install fails then your comp could be done.

Guest SoundOfDeath
A hardware monitor page came up now, it's tellin me to reboot and insert proper boot device. Does that mean my hard drive is fried?

Guest Ret.Maj.Xander=US=
Not sure what you mean by hardware monitor. Are you saying the dvd drive won't boot to anything? You could always try putting the windows iso onto a flash drive. Microsoft has a tool to do it. http://emea.microsoftstore.com/UK/en-GB/Help/Windows-7-USB-DVD-Download-Tool

Guest Ret.Maj.Xander=US=
Sounds like a hardware problem. Could be the mobo, could be the hard drive. I would suggest a complete overhaul.
Guest h4344
It could be out-of-date drivers. Also might be a problem if you have your GPU overclocked.
