CHEEZY but intresting CHEEZY
thats just the concept art, the shark on screen will of course be CGI, and in their words - "flawless" if the movie ever gets out of development hell :(

thats a comparison with a great white shark, ala Jaws, and a Megalodon a Megalodon is basically a blown up version of the great white it wasnt uncommon for a meg to grow more than 50 or 60 feet long theres a wide spread theory that they retreated to deeper and warmer waters as the climate changed during the last ice age, about 10000 years ago or so its also widely debated, but then we thought the coelocanth was extinct, and then 1 was caught in a net in 1938 new species are discovered everyday at shallower depths, the thing is we no more about the moon or even mars than we do about the deep ocean http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Megalodon

Have any of you guys read the book? I remember the first time I read it, I was about 7 or 8, it is DEFINITELY not a book for kids. Plus, it scared me so bad I wouldn't go into the water when we went to the beach for about 2 months. But, it's a good book, I think there are 2 or 3 of them.

however, if i saw a shark in the water id just jump in, if i was on a boat :D i luvv sharks number 1 career dream is to be a Marine Biologist and study them around the world :D second to that is to be a historian, but then im a history nut :D the truth is that if people at a beach saw an aerial view of the water around them theyd see sharks everywhere, just out of their visual range an AVERAGE of 4 ppl die a year from sharks compared to the 40 million we kill

Yeah, my dad took the book from me when he found it in my room. Said it wasn't for kids. I stole it back and read it anyways. And he was right, that book has some stuff in it that is definitely not for kids.
