  • Path of Exile 2 - Making PoE more beginner friendly.

Path of Exile 2 is coming out next year. Here are some of the highlights:

    Same game, two different campaigns:
Yes its a sequel but you won't lose any of your microtransactions or game/award progress b/c it's the same game. It lets you choose which campaign to run but either one still gets you to the end game mapping. The second campaign is a true sequel set 20yrs after the end of the initial campaign.

    Graphics update:
The graphics have been completely overhauled! It looks more polished than ever before. Take for instance - you can now clearly see all the corpses of the enemies you have killed. The skills look cleaner and more discernible. Boss mechanics are easier to read and give you just enough time to dash out of the way.

    Beginner friendly:
Gone are the days of trying to match equipment with the right sockets and the right colors. Skill gems now have the sockets so you don't have to worry about picking up a piece of equipment and crafting it to match the sockets you need. Every skill has a clear and concise description and support gems will let you know if they are compatible with skills. Now more than ever character customization is seemingly unlimited.

    New end game atlas:
This is coming next month - Conquerors of the Atlas. All of those exiles who blew through the end game atlas and gods grew so powerful that they became the new threat. Zana locked them in the atlas but they found a way back. It's our job to knock them down a level.

I truly believe this is going to rival Diablo IV. Hit me up if anyone plays and we'll go slashing some monsters together.
