Thanks to the efforts of LTJG.Padarom and SCPO.TheDoctor, the remaining members of the Navy spend November 2014 to August 2015 building the Corpsmen Platoon (Marines) into one of the most successful and active units in the entire clan. That unit ends up spinning off into the new Navy Branch after being closed for two years.


November 2014

JCS restructures to be more in alignment with real life Joint Chief layout. Clan CO and XO now have a Senior Enlisted Advisor (SEA; SMA.VicVegas) as well as a Chief Advisor (CW5.Ward) dedicated to their personal staff. Support Command and Division Command are completely removed from the Chain of Command so the Division CO and Intel CO report directly to the Clan CO/XO. NCOA moves out of Intel and reports directly to the SEA. Joint Staff is implemented to address clan logistics and planning. Members of the new JS are Branch XOs and Intel Dept WOICs.

After a hiatus, the Corpsmen are reestablished within the Marines to help encourage growth in the clan for EU and other non-NA members.

Recruit Interviews are implemented as an effort to bring Upper Command closer to new members. This not only gives the new members a chance to talk with the senior most members in the clan, but it also allows Upper Command to stay in touch with enlisted and make the gap smaller between high and low ranking members.

Public Affairs re-opened as an Intel Department to both help promote and maintain clan activity and to track clan morale and overall activity level.

Advanced Individual Training (AIT) implemented to provide enlisted members at E-3 additional training beyond the basic clan knowledge achieved through Basic Combat Training (BCT). AIT is now a requirement for advancement to E-4 as it focuses on junior leadership and coordinating a team effort.

ArmA Company is formed but shortly dies out. The first ArmA Company was lead by CPT.BlackScorpion and 1SG.GraniteSage. Although =US= is a Battlefield clan, many members are fans of ArmA and now ArmA2.

unknownsoldiers.org gets repeatedly hacked and put down (as a result of old members from dec 2006). "clanunknownsoldiers.com" is purchased as a brand new site.


December 2006

=US= regular structure of Branches is removed and in it's place changes to Brigades. 1st, 2nd and 3rd Brigade. HUGE MEMBER LOSSES! 60% of the clan leaves to do their own thing. The Unknown Soldiers is primarily a branch based clan. The Army, Navy, Marines and Air Force make up the four base branches of the clan.

The Unknown Soldiers was formed shortly after the release of Battlefield Vietnam. It’s formation came after a number of members left [UAF] clan, the #1 Battlefield Vietnam clan at the time, to form their own group.
